Monday Nights are finally here!

Starting January 26, 2009, @ 6:00 pm at Soquel High track, we will get the show on the road.

Monday night practices are a speed development workout. Now don't stop reading.
Speed development isn't just for sprinters. It is designed for everyone from sprinters to
marathoners to the ultra runner. MN builds your core strength and endurance.
We do plenty of stretching, push-ups, sit-ups, form drills, and a few striders
to get the heart rate working. Newcomers are always welcome.
REMEMBER WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.
In a typical workout you will run less than 3 miles.
That includes warm up, workout, and cool down.

MN go about 23 weeks. Each week I add a few more push-ups, sit-ups, and a few meters to the form drills.
It takes about 3 weeks to get used to the range of motion and the drills.

So, start from the beginning, you'll be glad you did. The best results will be observed.
Each week you will get stronger and more flexible. Before you know it that new PR will be set or running
your best Wharf to Wharf. If a drill exercise does not feel right just pass on it.
No need to feel that one needs to compete with anyone.
TRAIN SMART!

Also, we will be doing the whole workout on the new football field; much easier on the knees.
Come out and give it a try and have fun taking your running to the next level!!!
